2011 Toyota Sienna Luxury Concept Sporty Style

2011 Toyota Sienna Review, Specs and Prices

The 2011 Toyota Sienna Along with its more spacious interior, powerful yet efficient engines and enough technology to impress a rocket scientist, the all-new Sienna offers something most minivans don’t: a responsive driving feel wrapped in a sleek shape. What’s more, Sienna is assembled in America, with among the highest levels of North American content in the segment. Like we said, the all-new Sienna was designed to help redesign you. And what better way to put a new spin on things than by adding accessories to your Sienna. Whether it’s gear for the on-the-go family or just something to make your Sienna more, well, yours, these Genuine Toyota accessories will do the trick.

2011 Toyota Sienna

The New 2011 Toyota Sienna LE and 2011 Toyota XLE are available with an innovative, industry-first, factory-installed Auto Access Seat. Designed for anyone who may need assistance getting in or out of a vehicle, the Auto Access Seat extends and retracts in the second-row position at the push of a button on either the remote or the seat itself. Dealer special order required.

The 2011 Sienna is beautiful in detail. Its exterior door rails are hidden from view, helping to give the Sienna a clean, uncluttered look. And speaking of clutter, Sienna is loaded with places to store your goods. Second- row tip-up and long slide create a huge, easily accessible cargo area in the middle section. The middle seat in the second row is designed for maximum versatility. Fold it upright
and it’s a comfortable, well cushioned seat. Or remove it and store it in the cargo area compartment
for a passageway to the third row. The floor behind the third-row seat is my favourite storage place because it is deep enough for a cooler or luggage.

2011 Toyota Sienna

The cabin is covered with a dual moon-roof, allowing everyone in the family to feel like their seat is
the best. Grandkids love to point out the stars in the sky when you get away from the city lights. The
second-row lounge seating features captain’s chairs that recline, dual armrests that adjust, map lights
that swivel, and climate controls at your fingertips. Sienna is not your typical minivan. It handles well and lets you feel comfortable in your drive and positioned with a feeling of poise. Outside, large-diameter 19-inch alloy wheels create a bold, confident stance. While inside features like the exclusive sport meter and seat upholstery, chrome accents, and a “piano-black finish” achieve a sporty
style backed by substance. The electric power steering provides more feedback and precise handling.

2011 Toyota Sienna

The standard technology I enjoyed the most was the front and rear parking sonar. 2011 Sienna uses the available sonar to help you guide the vehicle into your parking spot. From locations within the front and rear bumpers, the sonar helps gauge the area in a parking space to help drivers during parking manoeuvres. Toyota is known for its concern for driver and passenger safety. Driver and front-passenger headrests, an advanced airbag system, and seatmounted side bags are standard
equipment of the Sienna. Driver’s knee airbag and child protector sliding door locks provide additional
degrees of safety.

The standard price for the 2011 Sienna with the features mentioned is $49,100. In Canada, only the
XLE 7-Passenger model has option packages available, while all other models, including this LTD, come in standard configurations. The city fuel consumption is 12.8 L/100km and the highway consumption is 9.0. The 2011 Toyota Sienna all Models Prices MSRP $24,560 - $40,070.

The 2011 Toyota Sienna has lots under the hood. The 3.5L 6cyl. DOHC 24V WT-1 V-6 engine has
266 hp with 6200 rpm, 245 lb.-ft. with 4700 rpm, and the power to get you there quickly. This, combined with the 6-speed ECT-1 transmission, makes for a fast-moving vehicle, while at the same time providing comfortable seating for eight with a 60/40 split and stow third-row seat.

2011 Toyota Sequoia Platinum Laser Control

If your natural habitat is your couch, then probably not. But if you prefer to steer clear of the ordinary, this might well be your next vehicle. Exceptionally spacious and ruggedly capable, 2011 Toyota Sequoia is all about helping the maximum number of people get maximum enjoyment out of the day. Fill it full of kids, friends and whatever gear you’ll need. Then go do something that will be worth talking about when you’re standing around the water cooler on Monday morning. After all, you seem like you’re more interested in looking for adventure than searching for the remote.

More than you’re likely to need. There’s seating for eight1 with the standard third row. Or you can fold the seats fl at for 120.1 cubic feet of cargo space. That’s enough room for all the gear you and your crew will need to go just about anywhere. You could just say it’s big but big is too small a word to do it justice. That’s because 2011 Sequoia interior isn’t just vast; it’s versatile. Both the sliding second-row and reclining third-row seats feature a split-fold design. That allows you to choose how to stow most of your stuff: upright, fl at, you name it. You could also keep the seats upright and put cargo and up to eight people in the Sequoia.

2011 Toyota Sequoia

The 2011 Sequoia offers an available power rear liftgate that makes it easy to access all that rear cargo space. Just press a button on the remote key fob, and the liftgate gently releases upward. To close it, press a button on the liftgate frame, or one on the dash, or use the key fob to close it automatically. There’s more to the rear of Sequoia’s cabin than just a whopping 120.1 cubic feet of usable cargo space.1 There’s also rear under-floor storage, plus a cargo area 12V auxiliary power outlet and grocery bag hooks. Those sitting in the third-row seat will find cup holders, personal storage and, on the Limited and Platinum, window shades.

2011 Sequoia’s ignition system uses long-reach iridium-tipped spark plugs. Why iridium? It’s six times harder, eight times stronger and has a melting point 1200 degrees higher than platinum. Need room? Fold the second- and third-row seats flat for 120.1 cubic feet of cargo space. And with the available power reclining and folding third-row seat, settling in for the long
haul is as easy as pushing a button. The front-seat console on Sequoia Platinum houses climate controls and cup holders for those in the second row. There are also auxiliary inputs for the available rear-seat entertainment system, plus a 115V outlet.

2011 Toyota Sequoia

The reclining third-row seat of Sequoia is wide enough to accommodate three adults in true comfort,
or it can split-fold 60/40 for a combination of people and cargo. And because the seats fold completely flat, you can actually do what it says on that box and keep “this end up.” The second-row seat features one-touch access. Say you’ve opened the rear passenger-side door on Sequoia. Just pull the lever on the outside of the second-row seat cushion. One lever that’s all it takes to simultaneously fold the seat down and slide it forward. That means easy access to the third-row seat without the usual gymnastics.

To help make the most of its spacious interior, Sequoia features an available sliding and reclining
second-row seat. You can use the versatility of its 40/20/40 split-fold design. Or you can slide it back
to add leg room. That plus the extraordinary head room and shoulder room in the second row help
make Sequoia one comfortable ride.

2011 Toyota Sequoia Features like an available Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system do give
Sequoia perfect road manners. But with an available Multi-Mode 4WD system with Torsen limited-slip center differential, Sequoia is ready whenever the road turns to trail. In fact, that’s when the real fun begins.

Sequoia’s second-row seat feels like the front row of a theater. That’s because you can watch the latest Hollywood blockbuster or play video games on the available rear-seat DVD entertainment system’s 9-inch screen. With so much to do, the kids will be hoping they’re not there yet. But relax  all the movies and games they bring along will fit in Sequoia’s many storage compartments.

Sequoia’s available touch-screen DVD navigation system includes a backup camera. Put Sequoia in Reverse, and it automatically shows what the camera sees immediately behind you. Which means if
you’re thinking of towing a boat, you’ll be able to line up the tow hitch like a pro. What’s more, this nav system has an auxiliary audio input compatible with most USB audio devices. And built-in Bluetooth technology for hands-free phone capability with music streaming.

Advanced safety technologies are something you’ll fi nd throughout Sequoia. Clearly Toyota doesn’t
believe in simply relying on the vehicle’s size to help ensure your safety. Instead, our engineers have
equipped Sequoia with an array of both active and passive safety measures. Active safety features,
such as Vehicle Stability Control (VSC),1 help you avoid trouble. Passive safety features come to your aid in the event trouble proves unavoidable. Both help you breathe easier.

Standard on every Sequoia is the Star Safety System, a suite of safety features that help drivers to avoid accidents in the first place. Vehicle Stability Control (VSC)1 can compensate for loss of traction while cornering and help prevent sideways slipping. Traction Control (TRAC) employs throttle control to help reduce wheelspin and transfer torque to the wheel with the most traction. Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) senses a potential wheel lockup and pulses the brakes rapidly, so wheels rotate rather than skid, giving the driver more control.

Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) optimizes the braking effort distributed between front and rear axles, while Brake Assist (BA) applies additional brake pressure if it detects a panic stop. Smart Stop Technology (SST) reduces engine power and helps bring the vehicle to a stop when both brake and accelerator pedals are pressed at the same timeunder certain conditions.

2011 Toyota Sequoia is available with an all-aluminum 381-hp 5.7L V8 that churns out 401 lb.-ft. of torque. There’s also an available DOHC 32-valve 4.6L V8 that produces 310 hp. All Sequoia models have been designed to provide all the power you need. But what you might be surprised to learn is that both engines have received an Ultra Low Emission Vehicle II (ULEV-II) rating. So power and responsibility can go hand in hand. There’s more to towing and hauling than just a powerful engine.
Maintaining ride height is especially important when the vehicle is carrying a lot of passengers or cargo weight. That’s why Sequoia Platinum features Electronically Modulated Air Suspension. It allows
the driver to adjust ride height to compensate for changes in load. So Sequoia’s ride is always the same: smooth.

2011 Toyota Highlander and 2011 Highlander Hybrid Responsive Power

The 2011 Toyota Highlander and 2011 Highlander Hybrid is designed to meet most off-road driving requirements. Abusive use may result in bodily harm or damage. Toyota encourages responsible operation to protect you, your vehicle and the environment. Seatbelts should be worn at all times. Please do not allow passengers to ride in the cargo area. Towing hitch receivers/ball mount kits are not intended to provide crash protection. Then Toyota Highlander is for you. With seating for up to seven, a versatile 95.4 cubic feet of cargo room1 and remarkable fuel economy, Highlander does provide all the practical things a family needs. But it also offers sculpted sheet metal, a sophisticated interior, an available 270-hp V6 engine and a long list of standard creature comforts. Admit it those are the sorts of extras you were hoping to have.

Maybe you can’t always get what you want. But this sure looks like an exception. 2011 Highlander and 2011 Highlander Hybrid, each with its own distinct styling. But the choices don’t stop there. Highlander is also available with either 2- or 4-Wheel Drive, and a 4- or 6-cylinder engine. There’s only a single Highlander philosophy, however. Not that you’ll mind practicality seldom looks this good.

Toyota knows you’re going to spend a lot of time behind the wheel, so we had our engineers do the same. They logged countless hours in the Highlander, and the result is a remarkable driving experience. Every facet of the vehicle has been refi ned, from the technology at the driver’s fi ngertips to the entertainment options available to second- and third-row passengers. It truly seems like our engineers thought of everything except a compelling reason to get out.

A great deal of attention was paid to the size, shape and placement of buttons, knobs and switches, making Highlander’s controls easy to find and use. Highlander Limited’s and Hybrid Limited’s Smart Key System1 with Push Button Start is a case in point. The available backup camera also makes life a little easier, displaying what it sees behind you on the available dash-mounted Multi-Information Display or available navigation screen.

Passengers can enjoy themselves by watching movies or playing games on the available rear-seat DVD entertainment system,4 with its 9-in. display. Better yet, they can listen on wireless headphones.5 Not that they’re the only ones who get to relax. On Highlander Limited
and Hybrid Limited models, the driver can extend the cushion on the perforated leather-trimmed driver’s seat with the push of a button. Nothing like a little extra thigh support to help you be more comfortable. And, in turn, more focused.

The 2011 Toyota Highlander now comes standard with a 50/50 split third-row seat. It’s a great help in a number of situations, such as when you want to carry six people plus some long and unwieldy cargo. Also available is easy-clean fabric on all three rows of seats. It can seat one, or as many as seven. It can carry anything from a few grocery bags to 95.4 cubic feet of cargo.1 All sorts of bulky items fi t inside easily, since you can fold both the second- and third-row seats fl at from the rear cargo area. And thanks to stadium seating, each row of seats sits higher than the row in front of it, enhancing the sense of space for those in back. Really, when you think about it, it’s not just the seats that have been elevated. It’s the whole concept of versatility.

Three-zone automatic climate control
With Highlander Limited’s and Hybrid Limited’s three-zone automatic climate control system with air filter, nobody has to be too hot or too cold. It offers dual zone climate control in the front, a separate second-row control panel, and rear vents for the second- and third-row
seats, so you can really optimize the temperatures inside the cabin.

Center Stow System
This innovative feature adds to Highlander’s incredible versatility. Beneath the center console, there’s a Center Stow seat that you can pull out, lock in place between the second-row captain’s chairs and fold open. Remove it, and you’ve made a walk-through to the third row. Or replace it with the Center Stow console to hold drinks and smaller items.

Impressive engineering is something you come to expect with Highlander. But you’ll notice it most when you’re on freeway on-ramps and when you’re at the gas station. That’s because Highlander uses an extraordinary technology known as Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) to provide the ideal combination of power, effi ciency and reduced emissions. Now, that’s the kind of performance you can appreciate even when you’re not on the road.

2.7-liter 4-cylinder Highlander’s fuel-efficient 2.7-liter 4-cylinder engine uses Dual VVT-i
to help make the most of its 187 hp and 186 lb.-ft. of torque, giving you responsive power. Coupled with a 6-speed Electronically Controlled automatic Transmission with intelligence (ECT-i), this engine allows Highlander to get an EPA-estimated 25 highway mpg rating.1

3.5-liter V6 Highlander An available 24-valve V6 engine uses a Double Overhead Cam (DOHC)
and Dual VVT-i to deliver 270 hp and 248 lb.-ft. of torque with an EPA-estimated 24 highway mpg rating.2 Yet Highlander still manages to achieve an Ultra Low Emission Vehicle II (ULEV-II) rating.

This advanced technology powers 2011 Toyota Highlander Hybrid in different ways: sometimes
with the gas engine, sometimes with electric motors, sometimes with both. The result is an EPA-estimated 28 city/highway mpg rating,1 plus an impressive 280 net hp. It also makes this a Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (SULEV). Hybrid Synergy Drive. It doesn’t merely move Highlander Hybrid forward. It moves the whole automotive industry forward.

Energy monitor
Highlander Hybrid’s instrumentation panel tells you more than just your speed. It tells you the mode you’re driving in and lets you see how economically you’re driving, as Hybrid Synergy Drive employs the most efficient source of power. That’s a smart way to go.

EV mode
EV mode is intended for instances when you’re driving at very low speeds for short distances — inching your way out of a crowded underground parking garage, for example. When EV mode is available, Highlander Hybrid uses one of its electric motors. In EV mode, Highlander saves
fuel, reduces noise and cuts emissions since it’s not using its gasoline engine at all.

ECON mode
To help Highlander Hybrid operate economically in normal driving situations, there’s ECON mode. Press the ECON button, then press down on the accelerator: Engine throttle response is modified, which helps reduce fuel consumption. ECON mode can also help when accelerating in low-traction situations like on snow-covered roads.

Starting From initial light or moderate acceleration to low speeds and under certain conditions, 2011 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is powered solely by the high-torque electric motors. Normal Running In normal driving conditions, Highlander Hybrid runs on the gasoline engine and is assisted by the electric motors as needed. Full Acceleration During heavy acceleration, the gasoline engine is used while the battery supplies increased drive power to the electric motors. Deceleration/Braking When slowing, the gasoline engine begins to shut off and the electric motors convert momentum into electricity, storing it in the HV battery. Stopping When Highlander Hybrid comes to a stop, its gasoline engine shuts off to conserve fuel and reduce emissions.

Toyota’s Star Safety SystemTM is a suite of safety features offered standard on every Toyota. On Highlander it includes Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA)3 and Smart Stop Technology (SST).4 Termed “active” safety features, they’re designed to proactively respond in certain situations to help prevent accidents from occurring in the fi rst place.

Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control (VSC)
Differences in grip asphalt under the left-side tires, slick snow under the right, for example can affect brake response. Enhanced VSC works with the Electric Power Steering (EPS) to respond automatically to differences in left-right brake force and help the driver counteract pull with minimal effort.

Traction Control (TRAC)
Using Highlander’s advanced braking technologies, TRAC is a traction control system that helps control wheelspin when starting or accelerating on a slippery surface. TRAC is supplemented by the Enhanced VSC’s steering torque-assist control to help maintain appropriate driving force during straight-line acceleration and offset left-right pull.

ABS, EBD and BA
The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) that’s standard on Highlander is an important element of its active safety capability. Brake Assist (BA) is designed to detect whether the driver is attempting a panic stop, and if so, applies increased braking power. Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) works with ABS and BA to optimize the distribution and amount of brake force between the front and rear wheels, based on driving conditions and vehicle load. When braking during cornering, EBD also distributes brake force between the left and right wheels to help maintain vehicle control.

2011 Highlander comes standard with an Advanced Airbag System that includes both driver and front passenger airbags. A knee airbag further enhances protection for the driver. Front seat-mounted side airbags help provide protection to the driver and front passenger in the event of certain types of severe side-impact collisions. The front seats also incorporate
active headrests, which move up and forward, helping to reduce the severity of whiplash injuries to the driver and front passenger in the event of certain lower-speed rear end collisions.

Roll-Sensing side Curtain Airbags (RSCA) help provide protection for all rows of seats in
certain types of side collisions and in the event of a roll. LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) includes lower anchors and tethers on all outboard second-row seats.
Highlander is well-equipped with what people commonly think of as safety features: airbags, seatbelts and other equipment that helps when the unforeseen proves unavoidable. However, it also offers numerous features that you might not have considered but which can prove useful in helping to keep you and your passengers out of harm’s way. Take a look.

HAC helps prevent the vehicle from rolling backward from a standing start on an incline. When activated, the feature holds the brakes for approximately three seconds as the driver switches from the brake pedal to the accelerator. In a similar fashion, available DAC automatically
modulates the brakes to help provide a slow, controlled descent on steep declines. This helps reduce wheel lockup, preserving the driver’s ability to steer and potentially avoid a collision.

Toyota engineering has always been about making you feel confident behind the wheel. Which is why Highlander offers traction and safety engineering systems that include an available full-time 4WD system. Highlander Hybrid gives you a similar sense of security with Electronic
On-Demand 4WD with intelligence (4WD-i). Standard on all models, Smart Stop Technology is designed to reduce engine power when the brake is firmly applied, helping to bring the vehicle to a stop even if the accelerator pedal is fully depressed.

2011 Toyota Venza Luxury Concept SUV 4WD Cars

The Toyota Venza is currently Toyota's only crossover without a third-row seat, as the RAV4 and the Highlander crossover SUVs do have the third-row seating (although only available on the RAV4 V6 base, as other RAV4 trims seat only five). Unlike the RAV4 and Highlander, which are sold in Japan, the Venza is currently only sold in North America. The Toyota Venza counterpart that is sold in Japan, the Toyota Mark X ZiO, also has an available third row seat while being slightly shorter and narrower than the Venza. Toyota states the Venza blends the "styling and comfort of a passenger car with the flexibility of a sport utility vehicle. According to Toyota, Venza is neither a station wagon or SUV, rather it is targeted at customers who want more room and flexibility than the Camry sedan but desire a smaller size than the Highlander, a mid-size crossover SUV.

The 2011 Toyota Venza doesn't quite exhibit the top-notch interior quality of past Toyota models, but it is a tad nicer than its current Camry stablemate. Its design in particular is rather fetching and practical to boot, with a sleek center console that features a high-mounted shifter that frees up space between the seats. This allows for a large bin, generously sized cupholders and smaller bins perfect for iPods and other small devices. The audio and climate controls are a new design for Toyota, but they remain user-friendly.

The 2011 Toyota Venza although it lacks a third-row seat, the Venza provides loads of passenger space, particularly in the rear, which features reclining seatbacks. A bit more driver seat adjustment would be nice, though. The cargo area can swallow 70 cubic feet of stuff with the rear seat folded and a healthy 34.4 cubes with the seats up. A tilt and telescope steering wheel, eight-way power driver’s seat and four-way power passenger’s seat, power windows, locks and mirrors, and dual zone automatic climate control are among standard features. Also included in the base price of every 2011 Venza is a power rear liftgate, cruise control, and a 3.5-inch instrument-panel multi-information display for outside temperature, instant and average fuel economy, distance to empty, average speed, and air conditioning settings.

The 2011 Toyota Venza dashboard control system is gorgeous. The dashboard-mounted shifter is a design marvel, and frees space in the floor-mounted center console for retractable cup holders and an iPod/MP3-player bin. Most importantly, the Venza offers a laudable amount of space for both cargo and occupants. Its rear reclining seat can handle two adults or three children comfortably. With all seats down, the Venza boasts a very healthy 70 cubic feet of storage space.

The 2011 Toyota Venza is available with a four- or six-cylinder engine and can be had in either front- or all-wheel drive. All versions feature a six-speed automatic transmission. The 2.7-liter four-cylinder produces 182 horsepower and 182 pound-feet of torque. In Edmunds performance testing, a four-cylinder, front-drive Venza went from zero to 60 mph in 9.3 seconds an average time compared to similarly powered crossovers. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 21 mpg city/27 mpg highway and 23 mpg combined with front-wheel drive and 20/25/22 with all-wheel drive. The 3.5-liter V6 produces 268 hp and 246 lb-ft of torque. In Edmunds performance testing, it accelerated an all-wheel-drive Venza from zero to 60 mph in a quick 6.9 seconds. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 19/26/22 with front drive and 18/25/21 with AWD. This is strong for a vehicle of its size and power.

The 2011 Toyota Venza is a five-passenger wagon available in two trim levels, which correspond to its two engines. The four-cylinder Venza comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlamps, foglamps, privacy glass, a power tailgate, keyless entry, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, an eight-way power driver seat (includes power lumbar), a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a large color trip computer display, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player, satellite radio and an iPod/USB audio interface. The Venza V6 adds 20-inch wheels along with its bigger engine.

The 2011 Toyota Venza price MSRP is $27,235-$30,510. That represents a modest $200 increase over the 2010 Venza. (All base prices in this review include the manufacturer’s mandated destination fee. The factory’s fee for the 2011 Venza is $760, Toyotas sold in certain Southeaster and Gulf states are delivered by independent distributors and may carry a different destination charge.) The 2011 Toyota Venza equipped with the four-cylinder engine has a base price of $27,235 with front-wheel drive and $28,685 with AWD. The 2011 Toyota Venza equipped with the V-6 engine has a base price of $29,060 with front-wheel drive and $30,510 with AWD.

2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid Best Concept Engine Performance

The first half of the Toyota Camry Hybrid drivetrain is a 147 horsepower version of the standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that runs on a more efficient Atkinson cycle. The second half is a 105-kW electric motor and a 245-volt battery pack that delivers a peak of 40 hp. The battery pack consists of 34 nickel-metal hydride modules, each of which contains six 1.2-volt cells. Run it all through a continuously variable transmission, and it adds up to 187 horsepower, versus the standard Camry's 169 hp. The Toyota Camry Hybrid underwent a mid-cycle update in 2010 and received new styling cues. To better differentiate the hybrid version from the gasoline-powered lineup, the Camry Hybrid now has a somewhat aggressive looking face with a single-blade grille, a large center air dam and outboard vertical fog-lamps. Still, with just a couple of hybrid badges that adorn the exterior, the Toyota Camry Hybrid doesn’t shout “hybrid” when you drive it. For the 2011 model year there are no significant exterior, interior or drivetrain changes.

2010 Toyota Camry Hybrid

All Body of the advantages that a Toyota Camry Hybrid provides a comfortable cabin, easy ride and good fuel economy are accompanied by a lingering storm cloud. Toyota’s highly-publicized recalls concerning unintended acceleration are following the brand and damaging its once well-respected reputation. Although the 2010 and 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid are not included in the recalls, reviewers have turned their criticism onto the brand’s overall build quality and interior fit and finish.

2011 Ryota Camry Hybrid

The 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid powertrains differ in motor and engine combinations. The ‘full hybrid‘ is generally the most advanced type and is the only system that can operate on electric or gasoline power, or a combination of the two. Full hybrids run on electric drive at low speeds, on gasoline and electric drive in traffic, and on gasoline alone at highway speeds. Computers automatically coordinate the electric motor and gasoline engine for an optimal balance of responsive performance, fuel economy and lower emissions. 2011 Toyata Camry with a full hybrid, the vehicle automatically shuts off the engine when coming to a stop and restarts the engine as needed when the vehicle begins to move forward again. This prevents wasted energy from idling and starting from a dead stop two times when a vehicle’s engine is the most inefficient.

2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid

The 2011 Toyota Camry hybrid is developed by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with an electric motor driven. Power is transferred to the front wheels through a specialized variable transmission (CVT) is sent. The gas engine produces 147 hp and 138 pound-feet of torque, and the electric motor is an additional 40 HP, to 187 maximum horsepower. The 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid can run on electric power alone, but only under light gas at speeds below 30 miles per hour. The 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid has standard front-seat side airbags, full-length side airbags, driver knee airbag, ABS disc brakes to control and stability. In the new government, demanding crash tests in 2011 achieved an overall assessment of the Toyota Camry hybrid of three stars out of five, with three stars for all frontal crash protection and three stars for the entire side crash protection.

2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid

The Toyota Camry Hybrid never feels short on power, and grants near-perfect throttle response. This is ideal for highway on-ramps, and launches from zero when you really need to get going. At the same time, the Toyota Camry Hybrid is smooth as silk in low speed conditions. It's a controlled and balanced four-door vehicle, slotting comfortably between family sedan and sports sedan. Automobile magazine noted, “The 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid can be a little sluggish when starting from a stop, but it then gets up to speed fairly rapidly.” In terms of handling, the Toyota Camry Hybrid is more than competent. It corners well and offers plenty of driver feedback. But the Toyota Camry Hybrid is best known for its ride quality. It offers a smooth and compliant feel that makes it ideal for long trips and daily commuting.

2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid Interior

The 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid is loaded with cool standard features including a tire-pressure monitoring system, halogen headlamps, a six-speaker audio system (MP3 and WMA compatible), smart keyless entry, push-button starting, Blue Optitron electronic gauges and dual climate control. The list of options includes a moonroof, voice-activated navigation system, leather-trimmed interior and heated seats. The in-dash multi-function trip computer display is standard on the hybrid. Toyota Camry Hybrid New bumpers, funky wheels and blue lighting round out the interesting restyling. Mechanicals underneath the modded skin is essentially the same as the American Camry hybrid that is currently on sale in the United States, including the 4-cylinder engine assisted by an electric motor.

The Toyota Camry Hybrid’s sophisticated hybrid powertrain can run solely on electric power at low speeds and while coasting on the highway, and the electric motor provides a tangible kick during hard acceleration, particularly at higher speeds. Otherwise, though, the Camry Hybrid is virtually indistinguishable from a regular Camry. As such, expect a spacious cabin, comfortable seats and a driving experience that isolates you from the outside world. Notably, the Nissan Altima Hybrid shares the Camry Hybrid’s powertrain while providing a more engaging driving experience, but the Nissan is only available in California and the seven states that currently follow that state’s tailpipe regulations: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont. Also, the Altima isn’t as cosseting as the Camry.

2011 Tpyota Corolla comes standard with the Star Safety System. This integration of active safety features is designed to protect occupants by helping drivers avoid accidents in the
first place. The Star Safety System includes Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), 5 Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), 6 and Smart Stop Technology (SST).

Vehicle Stab ility Control. Helps prevent slips and loss of traction by reducing engine power and applying the brake force to the wheels that need it.5 TR ACTION CONTROL. Helps maintain traction on wet, icy, loose or uneven surfaces by applying brake force to the spinning wheel(s).
Anti-Lock Brake Sys tem. Prevents brakes from locking up by “pulsing” brake pressure to each wheel to help you stay in control in emergency braking situations. Electronic Brake-force Distribution. Redistributes brake force to help keep the rear wheels from locking up during sudden braking situations.

Brake Ass ist
Detects sudden or “panic” braking and adds the full pressure needed to help prevent a collision. Smart Stop Tech nology. Smart Stop Technology is designed to reduce engine power
when the brake is firmly applied helping to bring the vehicle to a stop, even if the accelerator pedal is fully depressed. Toyota is the first full-line manufacturer to make all of the elements of the Star Safety System standard on every new 2011 vehicle. Visit toyota.ca for more details.

To drive the 2011 Corolla is to experience life in the technological fast lane. Simply press the gas pedal and the electronically controlled throttle body triggers your acceleration. The CE, LE and S models are powered by a 1.8-litre 132 hp engine, while the XRS model is outfitted with a 2.4-litre 158 hp engine. And the Corolla achieves a remarkable balance of performance and efficiency, thanks in part to its lightweight aluminum alloy engine block and cylinder head and its Variable Valve Timing with intelligence innovation, which helps the engine to optimize power, emissions and efficiency.

Refined Suspension Corolla’s impressive handling begins with its rigid chassis. Built to resist body flex, it provides a reliable platform so that the suspension can best do its job. The front suspension, mounted to an additional sub-frame to reduce noise and vibration, is tuned for precision handling. In back, the rear suspension employs a torsion type design that further
smoothes the ride quality.

SUPER COOLIN G SYSTEM The aluminum-alloy XRS engine uses lightweight, high‑compression (9.8:1) pistons, kept cool by a “water jacket” that surrounds the cylinder walls to help make the engine block lighter and more compact.

2011 Toyota 4Runner High Stylish Design Concept and Performance

With its reinforced body-on-frame construction, 2011 Toyota 4Runner has always been the kind of SUV that’s ready for rugged adventures. The kind planned on the fl y, sparked by the promise of going bigger, steeper and farther: a weather report predicting six inches of fresh powder in the mountains, a fi shing report that the largemouth are biting on a remote lake or a surf report calling for six-foot sets rolling toward a secluded cove. You get the idea. The question is, will you get with the idea? Are you in? With the 2011 4Runner, there’s no question. Trail’s available Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS). When pavement ends, priorities change. Which is why Toyota 4Runner puts serious off-road tools at your disposal. KDSS relaxes sway control for enhanced wheel articulation over deep ruts and off-camber obstacles. Yet even our most off-road-ready model Trail doesn’t compromise on-road driving comfort and handling.

Toyota 4Runner

You’re stopped during your climb up a hill. What can happen next is why 4Runner comes equipped with a feature called Hill Start Assist Control, or HAC. It helps prevent the vehicle from rolling backwards as the driver switches from the brake to the accelerator. HAC detects when the wheels roll backward and then gently applies the brakes, helping give the driver time to engage the accelerator. SR5 and Limited 4WD models come with an innovative feature called Downhill Assist Control, or DAC. Designed to help provide a controlled descent on steep inclines, it works by setting a target vehicle speed of approximately 2-4 mph. To help maintain that target speed, DAC sends a signal that automatically modulates 4Runner’s powerful brakes. For specific off-road conditions, Trail has two driver-selectable features.

Need to traverse off-road obstacles using controlled-speed maneuvers?
Engage Crawl Control. It modulates the electronic throttle and brakes to help maintain one of five set speeds. To enhance off-road performance and traction, Multi-terrain Select lets you choose from four terrain modes: “Mud and Sand,” “Loose Rock,” “Mogul” or “Rock.” Trail’s locking rear differential does its best work when you’re axle-deep in mud or on a moss-slicked boat ramp. Lock the rear differential and power is distributed evenly to both rear wheels, keeping them moving at the same speed, even when one wheel is off the ground. Or, if you’re crawling over boulders, the locking rear differential’s precise and predictable power output helps you move at a very controlled pace over precarious obstacles. Now, that’s capability.

Its Toyota 4Runner V6 engine uses Dual Independent Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) to give you 270 hp, 278 lb.-ft. of torque and an EPA-estimated 23 highway mpg rating.1 Put the power down and Toyota 4Runner’s lineage to a tradition of tough, rugged, body-on-frame SUV engineering is obvious. On Limited, precise handling and a smooth ride are delivered using X-REAS, a sport suspension that automatically balances gas/hydraulic pressure between cross-linked shocks to further reduce body sway and pitch. From Limited’s 20-inch split 6-spoke alloy wheels on up, it’s a lean and mean sport utility that never feels utilitarian.

2011 Toyota 4Runner

In a word, commanding. As the driver, you sit up high in the spacious cabin, your right foot fi rmly
in charge of 4Runner’s rugged capability, with the thick-rimmed steering wheel in your grip and
large, easily legible dials in your gaze. You’re surrounded by available technologies like voiceactivated
touch-screen DVD navigation,1 hands-free phone and music streaming via Bluetooth®2
wireless technology and an integrated backup camera.3 Strength has seldom felt so rewarding.

What’s so smart about Smart Key System?1 With Limited you can unlock doors, open or close the power sliding rear liftgate window and even start the vehicle at the push of a button, even though your key is still in your pocket or bag. Available front and rear 120V AC power outlets give you juice on the go for powering up personal electronics. An available USB2 port with iPod®3 connectivity adds to your musical possibilities. Toyota 4Runner’s available voiceactivated touch-screen DVD navigation system4 takes the guesswork out of venturing into the unknown. Map your whereabouts with
the touch of a finger. With Limited’s dual zone automatic climate control, the driver can set one temperature setting while the front passenger can select a separate setting. Rear ventilation and an air filtration system add to the high level of interior comfort.

 Toyota 4Runner 2011

Genuine Toyota accessories let you outfit your 4Runner with the gear you need for the adventures you have in mind. Cross bars, cargo covers, exhaust tips and running boards are just some of what’s available. And you can rest assured that they’re all built to the same exacting standards as the 4Runner itself. (Some accessories may not be available in all regions of the country. See your Toyota dealer for details.)

So no matter what your plans call for, get packed. Toyota 4Runner is ready when you are. The design of 4Runner’s interior leaves plenty of room for you and your traveling companions. Slide into your seat and notice all the head room and hip room. And the wide space between the front seats ensures plenty of comfort where it counts. It’s the choice for those who want the very best of everything. Standard on Limited and available on SR5 is a leather-trimmed interior, including an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with power lumbar support and 4-way power-adjustable front passenger seat. And both front seats are heated. 4Runner’s versatile second-row seat lets you recline and relax. Or fold its 40/20/40 seat sections to create various configurations of seating and storage for passenger and cargo carrying. The rear cargo area is available with a sliding rear cargo deck that can
hold up to 440 lb.1 Liftgate lighting and a Party Mode switch optimize tailgate listening. Let the tailgate party begin. 4Runner’s got an available sliding rear cargo deck that holds up to 440 lb.1 of gear. For quick access to the cargo area, there’s a power sliding rear liftgate window. And your passengers enjoy a second row with seatbacks that recline.

2011 Toyota 4Runner

The 2011 Toyota 4Runner comes standard with eight airbags.1 Toyota’s rigorous crash testing has resulted in an occupant protection system that includes driver and front passenger airbags, driver and front passenger TAP (Thorax, Abdomen, Pelvis) seat-mounted side airbags, driver and front passenger and second-row (third-row airbags on models so equipped) Roll-Sensing side Curtain Airbags (RSCA), and driver and front passenger knee airbags. Standard on every Toyota 4Runner is the Star Safety System,™ a suite of safety features that help drivers to avoid accidents in the first place. Vehicle Stability Control (VSC)4 can compensate for loss of traction while cornering and help prevent sideways slipping. Traction Control (TRAC) employs throttle control to help reduce wheelspin and transfer torque to the wheel with the most traction.

2011 Toyota 4Runner Interior

Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) senses a potential wheel lockup and pulses the brakes rapidly, so wheels rotate rather than skid, giving the driver more control. Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) optimizes the braking effort distributed between front and rear axles, while Brake Assist (BA)5 applies additional brake pressure if it detects a panic stop. Smart Stop Technology (SST)6 reduces engine power and helps bring the vehicle to a stop when both brake and accelerator pedals are pressed at the same time under certain conditions.
